Introduction to the Tidane Trend Indicator
The Tidane Trend indicator determines whether the trend is bullish or bearish.
The signals are represented in a form of the one side band (upside/downside), which consists of multiple dots connected by a line.
It fits all kinds of timeframes and currency pairs.
The default settings can be modified directly from the input tab. Feel free to experiment with the settings and parameters to fit your personal preferences.
Simplified trading rules for Tidane Trend are the following:
- Open buy trade when the Tidane Trend turns green. Set your stop loss a few pips below the big green dot. Close the trade when Tidane Trend turns orange or use your own preferred method of trade exit.
- Open sell trade when the Tidane Trend turns orange. Set your stop loss a few pips above the big orange dot. Close the trade when Tidane Trend turns green or use your own preferred method of trade exit.
How to set up the Tidane Trend indicator in MT4?
Copy and paste the Tidane trend.ex4 or Tidane trend.mq4 indicator files into the MQL4 folder of the Metatrader 4 trading platform.
You can gain access to this folder by clicking the top menu options, which goes as follows:
File > Open Data Folder > MQL4 > Indicators (paste here).
Now go to the left side of your MT4 terminal. In the Navigator find the gauge name, right-click it and select Attach to the chart.
